What is talc?
Talc is a common silicate mineral with a Mohs hardness of 1. It is a known softer mineral.
It can replace chalk to draw white marks, and nails can leave scratches on talc.
Talc is generally lump, leaf, fibrous, or radial. The color is white, off-white, and it will be colored due to other impurities.
Talc grinding technology:
Crushing stage: Large pieces of material are crushed by the crusher to the fineness (15mm-50mm) that can enter the mill.
Grinding stage: Small pieces of material that meet the conditions for entering the mill are uniformly and quantitatively fed into the grinding chamber of the mill through the conveying and feeding system, and pulverized in the grinding cavity.
Classification stage: The ground material is classified by the classifier along with the system airflow, and the unqualified powder is classified by the classifier and then returned to the main machine grinding cavity for re-grinding.
Powder collection stage: The powder that meets the fineness enters the powder collection system with the airflow through the pipeline, and the gas and powder are separated. The finished powder is sent to the finished product silo by the conveying device and then is packaged by a powder tanker or an automatic baler.

Types of talcum powder:
Chemical grade
Uses: Used in chemical industries such as rubber, plastics, paint, etc. as a strengthening and modifying filler. Features: Increase the stability of the product shape, increase the tensile strength, shear strength, flexural strength, pressure strength, reduce deformation, elongation, thermal expansion coefficient, high whiteness, and strong uniform particle size dispersion.
Ceramic grade
Uses: used in the manufacture of high-frequency porcelain, radio porcelain, various industrial ceramics, architectural ceramics, daily-use ceramics, and ceramic glazes. Features: High temperature does not change color, whiteness is enhanced after calcination, uniform density, good gloss, and smooth surface.
Cosmetic grade
Uses: It is a high-quality filler in the cosmetics industry. Features: Contains a lot of silicon. It has the effect of blocking infrared rays, so it enhances the sun-proof and anti-infrared properties of cosmetics.
Pharmaceutical and food grade
